Hospitality Management -- New Program for 2008-2009
This new program
offering at IVVC will encompass all facets of hotel management and
the hospitality industry. Areas of study will include facilities
management, finance, food services, building security,
housekeeping, marketing and tourism, event planning, and the legal
aspects of the hospitality industry. In addition to classroom
information and discussion, students will gain hands-on experiences
within a new hotel/convention center complex located near the
school in Sandwich.
This will be an a.m. only class at the new Best Western
Timber Creek Inn & Suites and Convention Center, 3300 Drew
Avenue in Sandwich. An Open House for all of the new Hospitality
Management students and their parents will be held on Thursday, May
15, 2008 at the hotel. The details will be mailed to each
student registered for the program.
