Health Occupations
Instructors: Julie Dzurisin & Cindy Casas
Health Occupations is
designed to be a two-year program. First year curriculum is taught
in an Applied Life-Science skill format, with unique hands-on
learning to explore Health Career options and obtain certification
in CPR and basic first aid. The Health Occupations I class
does NOT include Certified Nursing
Assistant (CNA) training for certification.

Health Occupations II is available to a senior student only. The student
may not be required to take Health Occupations I, pending approval
from IVVC and the home school. This course follows the guidelines
of the Illinois Department of Public Health to achieve a
certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A criminal background
