IVVC's Preschool
Indian Valley Vocational Center, located in Sandwich, Illinois, is owned and operated by 11 school districts. The 2008-2009 school year marks the IVVC preschool’s 34th year of offering children a safe, warm and secure environment with developmentally appropriate activities. Our program is dedicated to providing high quality educational enrichment experiences for children, and is designed to help children reach their maximum potential. The children learn by active participation and ‘hands on’ experiences that are adaptable to the different levels of each child. Our curriculum promotes the development of the “whole” child – integrating areas of physical, emotional, social, and cognitive learning experiences under the supervision of trained high school students, wanting to pursue a career in Education or in Child Care, and two certified instructors. We offer a two day a week session for 3-4 year old children; and a 3 day a week session designed for the pre-Kindergarten age child.
