IVVC Preschool News
The p.m. preschool class welcomed a special visitor at the end of February! Dr. Penny (Braedon’s Mom) and a dentist, taught the children all about their teeth. Dr. Penny brought a giant toothbrush and mouth; all the preschool children practiced brushing their teeth.
Dr. Penny told the children what to expect when they visit the dentist’s office. Dr. Penny surprised each child (and all the teachers) with a “tooth treat bag”, complete with toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and a 2-minute timer.
Thanks so much to Dr. Penny for visiting our class! We all learned lots about our teeth. A special thanks to Dr. Penny and the “First Impressions” Dental Offices of Drs. Lerohl and Landers for such great “tooth bags” for all our preschool children and all the high school teachers!
On Wednesday, March 13, 2008, the a.m. and p.m. preschool classes traveled to the Sandwich Opera House for a “mini” field trip to see the musical version of “Charlotte’s Web.” Our favorite characters were Charlotte, the spider, Wilbur, the pig, and the goose. A special highlight was riding on the school bus!
