Wish Tree
Health Occupations II Class Project
| A new idea
emerged from Health Occupations this year. Instead of the
usual Christmas tree with ornaments, we had a Wish Tree.
Any one who wanted to make a wish could place a ribbon on the
tree. Wishes were encouraged to represent a thought for
someone other than yourself, or in remembrance of
someone. |

Red ribbons
represented heart disease, gold was for the troops, pink was a
wish for someone who is fighting breast cancer. Blue and green were
also colors that represented other illnesses or wishes for
safe travel or good health. |

In the pictures,
the preschool students are putting their
ribbons and wishes on the tree. It was refreshing to see the
enthusiasm, from not just the preschool children, but other
students at IVVC. |
