Photo Shoot In Graphics
Bruce Van Pelt, owner of Brighter Visions Photography in
Sandwich, came to the Graphics class and transformed the back of
the classroom into a photography studio. The purpose of his visit
was to take pictures of a special portfolio project for second year
students.
After designing a label for a can of soup, students created a
magazine advertisement for their soup. The photo shoot involved
special lighting, props, backdrops and bowls of soup. Students
became assistant photographers as they learned about lighting and
digital photography. After editing the photos on the computer and
adding copy, they will each have a realistic magazine ad to include
in their portfolios.
