IVVC Receives Grant for SMART Boards
On November 13, 2007, Indian
Valley Vocational Center received a grant from the DeKalb County
Community Foundation. The $2,936 grant will be used to purchase two
interactive whiteboards (SMART boards) and
two floor carts. The IVVC instructional staff will use the
whiteboards within their career programs. The whiteboards will
also be utilized to present information to school groups and tours
as well as to parents, community leaders, and business
partners.
Indian Valley Vocational Center
provides
career and technical education to junior and senior-level students
from the following school districts: Earlville, Hinckley-Big
Rock, Indian Creek, Leland, Newark, Paw Paw, Plano, Sandwich,
Serena, Somonauk and Yorkville.
