IVVC Students are Winners
Indian Valley Vocational Center Graphic Arts
students spent their first days back to school preparing entries
for the Sandwich Fair Junior Exhibit. They produced, matted and
framed their own artwork and photographs. Jackie Dannewitz, IVVC
Graphics instructor commented, “IVVC is proud of all the students
who entered, and we congratulate those who won ribbons this
year.”
The winners include Miranda, Megan, Caitlyn, Blake, Dakota and
Amanda from Sandwich; Samantha, Jared, Alex and Zach from Somonauk;
Alicia and Samantha from Newark; Mari from Paw Paw; Katie from
Yorkville; and Charlotte from Earlville.
In addition to entering a project in the Fair, the students also
focused on looking at entries from the judge’s point of view. The
IVVC artists/photographers completed an assignment which required
them to judge other entries on display at the Fair.
The students’ work is on display at Indian Valley Vocational
Center, 600 Lions Road, Sandwich, Illinois.
